Ordering & delivery

7 answers

You watch reels of real dishes from places near you, and every reel is tied to a business you can order from. Open the restaurant, build a cart from its menu, and choose delivery or takeaway (you collect at the counter).

The restaurant then accepts or declines your order. Once accepted they start cooking, and you can follow the status — preparing, out for delivery, delivered — from the order screen. Their phone number is on that screen the whole time.

Bitely orders are cash. You pay the rider at your door, or at the counter when you collect. There is no card payment, no wallet and no saved card anywhere in the app.

That means we never hold your money and never ask for card details, a PIN or a bank login. If anyone contacts you claiming to be Bitely and asks for those, it is not us — please report it to support@bitely.store.

The price you see is the price you pay. Bitely adds nothing on top of what the restaurant charges, and the delivery fee shown is the restaurant's own.

Freely, until the restaurant accepts it. While your order still says it is waiting for the restaurant, a Cancel order button sits at the bottom of the order screen. One tap ends it, at no cost, with nothing recorded against you.

Once they accept, that button disappears on purpose — your food is being cooked, so calling it off is no longer yours alone to decide. Ring the restaurant and ask. If the food is already made they can fairly say no and expect payment.

If the restaurant never answers at all, we nudge them at 3 minutes, warn both of you at 10, and cancel the order automatically at 15 minutes. Nobody is penalised for that — kitchens get busy.

A rider who reaches your address and cannot hand the food over marks the order undelivered, choosing a reason: you did not answer, you refused it, or the address was wrong. That reason is recorded on the order and shown to you.

Because you pay cash on delivery, an undelivered order costs you nothing. It costs the restaurant the food and the rider the trip — which is why repeats matter (below).

If the rider marked it wrongly — you were there, your phone never rang, the address was right — email us the order number and a person will look at the order and correct the record.

Ordering is blocked automatically when deliveries repeatedly cannot be handed to you. It works as a ratio of your own delivery history, not a raw count, so an occasional miss is nothing:

  • 1 or more undelivered, and at least 20% of your deliveries — you get a warning in the app.
  • 2 or more, at least 25% — restaurants are shown a note before accepting.
  • 3 or more, at least 40% — you cannot place new orders.

It is not permanent. Deliveries you do receive pull the ratio back down. And because it is decided by software, it can be wrong — write in with the order number and a person will review it.

Check the order before you pay. Paying cash at the door is your real protection: the moment to raise a missing item or the wrong dish is while the money is still in your hand, not the next morning.

Take it up with the restaurant first — they cooked it and sold it, and they are the only ones who can put it right. Refunds and replacements are theirs to give; Bitely never holds your money, so there is no payment sitting with us to refund.

If a business will not fix a genuine problem, tell us. We cannot force a refund, but we can limit or remove a listing that keeps letting people down — and we do.

Ingredients, allergens and hygiene are the restaurant's responsibility, and every menu on Bitely was written by the business itself. Confirm an allergy directly with the restaurant before ordering rather than trusting the listing alone.

If food from a Bitely business makes you ill, contact the business and your provincial food authority — in Punjab that is the Punjab Food Authority — and please tell us too, so we can act on the listing.

Signing up & your account

Bitely needs it to work. Almost every screen is an answer to what is open around me right now — the feed, the offers, the dishes, the restaurants that can take your order and the delivery time you are quoted. Without your position the app has no honest way to answer any of that, so it asks for location access and keeps asking instead of showing you food from a city you are not in.

You can say no, and you can create an account and sign in without it, but the rest of the app will not open until you allow it. If you tapped Don't Allow twice, your phone stops asking — the screen will then send you straight to your phone's settings, which is the only place that choice can be changed.

Location is only read while you are using the app. Bitely never tracks you in the background. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Download Bitely, tap Sign up, and enter your name, email, phone number and a password — or use Continue with Google. We email you a six-digit code to confirm the address; enter it and the account is live.

You must be at least 13. If you are between 13 and 17 you need a parent or guardian to agree to the Terms on your behalf — that is a requirement of Pakistani contract law, not a preference of ours.

Codes are emailed and arrive within a minute or two. If nothing shows up:

  • Check spam and promotions. This is the cause the overwhelming majority of the time.
  • Confirm the address you typed — a single wrong character sends the code somewhere else.
  • Codes expire after 10 minutes. Past that, request a fresh one rather than reusing the old mail.
  • There is a limit on how many codes can be sent in a short window. If you have requested several, wait a few minutes before trying again.

Still nothing? Write in below with the email address you used and we will check whether it left our side.

Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen — we email a code to reset it. If you created the account with Continue with Google, there is no password to reset; sign in with Google instead.

If you have two-step verification on, signing in from a new device also needs a code from your email. And if your account was suspended you will be told so at sign-in — reply to us and we will explain why and review it.

From Settings → Account → Delete account, without asking anyone. It is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days; signing back in during that window restores it.

After 30 days it cannot be recovered — profile, posts, comments, orders, messages, saved addresses and any business listing go with it. The deletion guide covers exactly what is kept and why.

Yes — the app and the business dashboard are fully translated into Urdu with right-to-left layout. Switch language any time from Settings.

On data: we do not sell your information, there are no advertising or tracking SDKs in the app, and orders are cash so we hold no card details. Your data is stored outside Pakistan — our servers are in Mumbai and some providers are in the United States. The Privacy Policy is specific about where and why.

Running a business

It runs the shop. Being found by new customers is one half; the other half is the software you work the day on — and there is nothing to buy or install for it.

  • Online orders. Delivery and takeaway from the app land on a live board with a sound and a notification. Accept or decline, move each ticket through the kitchen, and pause new orders when you are drowning without going offline.
  • Your own counter. Ring up walk-ins yourself — dine-in with a table and floor area, or takeaway — priced from the same menu, on the same board. A full till, and it keeps working with no internet.
  • Your people. Invite your delivery riders and your front-of-house bearers by email. Each gets their own tab in the app, and every counter ticket records who rang it up.
  • The menu. Photograph a printed one and it fills itself in. Sold-out in a tap, deals and percentage promotions inside a time window, hours per day.
  • Your charges. Delivery fee flat, by distance or free; a table service charge; printable receipts; your own terms and conditions.
  • Analytics. Views, orders and revenue against the period before, best sellers, the hours you are actually busy — exportable as CSV.

All of it works in the app and in the web dashboard at business.bitely.store, on as many devices as you have staff.

Register at business.bitely.store or from the Business tab in the app. It takes about five minutes: business details and location, photos, then your menu. Restaurants, home kitchens, bakeries, small shops and street vendors are all welcome.

Our team reviews every new listing, usually within 24 hours, and you are notified when you go live.

We always say why, and the reason appears at the top of your dashboard. The usual causes are photos that are not of your own food, a menu with no prices, an address that cannot be found on the map, or details that do not match the business.

Fix what was flagged, then use Resubmit for review on the dashboard — you can add a note saying what changed. There is no limit on resubmissions.

Nothing today. Listing and taking orders — all free, with no commission and no monthly fee.

Running Bitely does cost money, so at some point we will start charging businesses a modest fee. We have not settled the amount or the date. What we commit to is in section 12 of the Terms: at least 30 days' notice by email before anything starts, the figures published before they take effect, never a backdated bill, and no lock-in if you would rather leave.

Whatever we eventually charge is billed to you separately. Orders stay cash, paid directly to you — we never touch your customers' money.

Orders arrive in the app and in the web dashboard, and you accept or decline while the order is pending. An order left unanswered for 15 minutes is cancelled automatically, so accept or decline rather than leaving it.

If you are slammed, closed early, or out of a key item, use the pause switch to stop online ordering rather than letting orders pile up. It lapses on its own at the time you set, so forgetting to switch back does not cost you a day.

Once you accept, the customer loses their cancel button and starts waiting on you. If you genuinely cannot fulfil an order after accepting, phone them.

All of it from the dashboard or the Business tab: menu items and prices, opening hours per day (including after-midnight closing), deals, promotions, and your gallery. If you have a printed menu, photograph it and Bitely reads it to fill in the items for you rather than typing each one.

Keeping this current matters more than anything else on the platform — stale prices and hours are the single most common cause of a bad experience.

The counter keeps working. You can take orders and move them through their stages with no connection, and you can still change your menu, prices, hours, deals, delivery charges, your own terms, and pause or resume new orders. It is all saved on the device and sent up by itself the moment you are back online — you do not have to do anything.

Anything still waiting shows a Not synced tag, so you can tell at a glance what has reached us. An order taken offline has no number until it syncs — the ticket shows a dash, because the number is ours to allocate and guessing it would print a receipt that later changes.

Some things genuinely need a connection: inviting a rider or assigning one, receiving new online orders from customers, messaging, reviews, support tickets, and anything that uploads a photo or video.

Two things to know. The saved work lives on that one device, so a second phone or the web dashboard will not show it until it syncs — and if a change clashes with what our servers already hold, such as an order the customer cancelled while you were offline, the server's version wins.

Riders & delivery

3 answers

From Riders in the dashboard or the app. Your rider must already have a Bitely account, and you invite them on that account's email address — it is what links the invitation to them.

They get an invitation email with an Accept button, and appear as assignable only once they accept. They can change their own photo and phone number afterwards from the Deliveries tab; their name and email stay as you set them.

Ask them to check spam and promotions first — that is nearly always where it is. The invitation goes to the email on their Bitely account, which may not be the one you expected if they signed up with Google.

They do not actually need the email: opening Bitely and going to the Business tab shows any pending invitation with Accept and Decline. If it is not there either, the invite may have gone to a different account — check the address on their profile.

No. Riders are invited by the restaurant they already work with. Bitely does not employ them, does not pay them, and takes no share of their pay or of the delivery fee. What a rider is paid is between them and the restaurant, and the delivery fee and delivery area are the restaurant's to set.

Posting, reviews & safety

3 answers

Bitely is food-only. Every post is checked automatically before it publishes, and anything that is not about food — a dish, a place that serves it, a food moment — is declined rather than posted. It is what keeps the feed worth scrolling.

That check is made by software, so it can be wrong. If you think it got your post wrong, write in and a person will look at it.

Review places you actually ordered from or visited, and describe what genuinely happened. A business may reply publicly, but it cannot edit or remove an honest review, and pressuring customers for reviews breaks our rules.

We remove reviews that break the rules — fake ones, paid ones, ones written on someone else's behalf. We do not remove a review because a business dislikes it, and no fee buys a better rating.

Any post, account or restaurant can be reported from its menu in the app, and reports are anonymous to the person reported. You can also block an account or a restaurant to remove it from your feed and map, and unblock later from Settings.

For anything involving a child, a credible threat, or fraud, we act immediately — write to support@bitely.store and say so in the subject.
